Alpha Eta chapter at Rutgers University was chartered on June 4th, 1930, and has initiated over 1100 members in its long history. Alpha Eta was the 31st chartered chapter of Tau Kappa Epsilon, and is one of the oldest TKE chapters in the country. Currently, after closing from 2005-2009, the Alpha Eta chapter is remerging as a force in the greek community at Rutgers University. Alpha Eta has now been awarded Chapter status once again at Conclave in August 2011, we are proud to once again be among the active chapters of Tau Kappa Epsilon. Based on the TKE ideals of "Love, Charity and Esteem," you will not find a tighter and more welcoming group of men on campus.
The brothers of Alpha Eta TKE boast leadership roles campus wide, including the Club Lacrosse and Wrestling teams, Circle K Service Club, Air Force ROTC, EMTs, multiple Honors-Program tutors, Student Government, Mock Trial Team and many more. We also maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.2, well above the all-male average on campus. Also, while scholastic success and extra-curricular activity is important, most of all we know how to have a good time!
